365 Ways to See Our Days

Now is the time to start thinking of beginning a 365 Project on January 1. You simply take one photo a day for the entire year and write a little bit about the photo. This then becomes a photo diary of your year. I have done this for the past year and it has been a very interesting project. You begin to look at your life and your surroundings in a very different way. Some days you take photos of exciting things that are happening and other days the photos are of the ordinary every day items in your life.

Many of you have photos in your cell phones so this project is even easier because you always have a camera with you. Don't stress over getting one every day. It is OK to take two or three photos one day if you miss a day or two. You will still end up with a good representation of your life.

There are several options for you to save these photos. You can use a traditional album and your favorite power palette. If you choose this route you may need two traditional albums – you will have 365 photos plus journaling boxes.

Another option is the expandable PicFolio Album and the Milestones Kits. The expandable album holds 450 photos and/or journaling boxes. If you include 4 photos and one journal box per page you can get 360 photos in this album. This is a fun and easy way to celebrate your photos all year. Just print them once a week or once a month and slide them in the album. Remember all our albums are 20% off in January.

The other option is to create a StoryBook. You can create pages throughout the year and then print the book at the beginning of next year. You can post your finished pages directly from StoryBook to Facebook if you want to share them with family and friends.

This album has many different names – 365 Project; 365 ways to see our days; a year in the life of the _____ Family; From the Ordinary to the Extraordinary in 2011. Will you be creating a 365 album this year? What will you call it? Please share in the comments section below.
